Your funds remain in escrow with Paystack. They are never released to the landlord until you personally confirm move-in. We step in to mediate, and if the issue cannot be resolved, you receive a full refund — no questions asked.
Absolutely. Inspection comes first, payment comes after. Book a free in-app inspection (or a paid virtual tour for properties outside your city). You only commit to paying after you've seen the property and agreed terms with the landlord.
All payments go through Paystack escrow. LandlordConnect never holds your money — Paystack does. Funds release only on double confirmation (you AND the landlord). If anything goes wrong, you have a documented audit trail and a refund pathway.
You need a valid government-issued ID (NIN, driver's license, or international passport) and a working phone number for SMS verification. That's it. We handle every other document — tenancy agreement, receipts, KYC — directly inside the app.
Yes. You can cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled inspection for a full refund (if any fee was charged). After that, virtual tour fees become non-refundable, but in-person inspections remain free.
Yes. Every offer comes with a 24-hour acceptance window. You can accept, counter, or decline. If you decline or let the window expire, the listing returns to active and the tenant is automatically notified — no awkward conversations.
